Suggestion for a 24" MTB

I thought I could simply buy the Frog 61 as the next size up for my daughter (Frog 53), but after playing at the Stratford / Velopark blue trails, she now wants a mountain bike instead!

So I am seeking a kid MTB, 24" suitable for a 8 years old girl, height 125cm, budget £400-£500.
Will buy new only, and happy with last season's model.

Conversely, I don't buy new at this age group... so my little boy has had a Vitus Nucleus for the past few months and it's been very good. But again, vast majority of 24" bikes at this price point will be very good. In fact, can you buy a bad 24" bike for £400 to £500?
