In the 00s I owned a Vertex, an Instinct and a RM9 that I brought over. Sadly their bikes, after importer/distributor markup were always waay too much frown

I had a Blizzard which I bought in Canada in 1994 and brought back. UK cost at the time was £1800 but I only paid around £900 for it in Canada.

I had a '92 Stratos - my first mountain bike. These colours but not frame size. Soon upgraded wheels, magura brakes and Pace RC35 forks. Great, well equipped, tough bikes. I eventually broke the frame but a mate still has his '91 Vertex
