I'm normally a MTB kinda guy but have a Wahoo turbo trainer and now a cheap road bike permanently mounted on the trainer to save the faff of swapping wheels and cassettes. Anyway when riding down on the drops is it normal for your thighs to be bashing into your chest? The seat height is ok i think and have almost full leg extension on the pedals. Or am I just powerfully built smile

OP: no, not really in my experience at least. In fact, you'd have to be pretty flexible to manage it I think! However, normal to be limited by stomach size to an extent. I think you may want your bars set a bit higher... and I would add that personally, I don't really ever use the drops on the trainer, maybe for a few minutes just to change position on a very long session; when I'm on the drops IRL it's mostly for the (hopeful!) aero gains freewheeling downhill with very little pedaling happening... not a problem in the garage!

Cheers, I just like to mix up the hand positions to avoid cramp and maybe i'm just too enthusiastic on the Zwift downhill sections smile
