Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a four day bike tour in November.

Looking for leisure (easy) cycling rather than hard mountain trails. I’ll be doing it with my dad who 82, who is a keen cyclist but not ready for the tour!

Ideally somewhere with a bit of warmth this time of year, a four day circular route or four routes from one one start point. Around 30km per day stopping with lunch and wine on route!

Hire him an e-bike just because he will be able to go twice as far for the same effort.

There's a cycle path the length of the French Atlantic coast, but I suspect that's a bit exposed for November. Maybe the Canal du Midi??

Seconded - I do a gravel ride every Friday with a friend and his father (mid 70s) who switched to an e-bike a couple of years ago. It means he can happily ride with us for 30 or so miles.

Last year he did an organised tour of the "Rebellion Way" and the year before he rode "King Alfred's Way" over 3 days. This year he was confident enough to head off to Cornwall and do the Kernow way solo.

I have been looking at Lagos which maybe the answer!

Lots of people in our cycling club have been to Mallorca. Plenty of climbs, I believe!

This article gives a good flavour:

I was very taken with the area around Mt Ventoux, inc Gorge de la Nesque (obviously you could Ventoux if you're feeling keen... the climb from Sault toward Chalet Reynard actually is not bad at all). Provence is beautiful.

Gran Canaria?
Mallorca?
