I wonder how this will work for them.
My son and I are stopping our subscriptions, but I guess there are enough subscribers who won’t notice the change.

They've held prices steady for years, and much as it's a big increase, there is still nothing to touch it in user experience, IMO.

I only hope they invest more into fixing the glitches that exist.


$100m turnover, 500 staff. Not a huge amount of COGS or overheads.

Good point re steady price for years. I think they’d have been better incrementally increasing prices, as it lessens the psychological impact that this 40% rise will have.
I guess the growth from new users has died a death post Covid ( there are probably less subscribers now than in 2020 with the ‘craze’ fading).
So price increases are the only option for profit growth.

MyWhoosh isn’t as good, but it’s not bad and it’s currently free. UCI will be using it for their virtual cycling events too.
