It's been a decade since I've last been.
Is it still worth a visit with family and still able to hire a decent chalet? (For a reasonable price).
I notice SuperMorzine which used to be a cheeky cheekyish trail is now groomed jumps etc???!
We love Morzine and go every winter and have been a few times in the summer. Is it still worth a visit with family and still able to hire a decent chalet? (For a reasonable price).

In the summer there's loads of stuff for the kids to do outside biking with the Multi-Pass. (https://en.morzine-avoriaz.com/multipass-morzine.html)
Things my kids love -
Lac de Montriond - paddle boarding, swimming, bbq, etc
Outdoor pool in Morzine
Inflatable waterpark in Les Gets
Roller coaster in Les Gets
Zip Line into Chatel (The Fantasticable)
Les Linderets - goat village
Pump track in Les Gets
Golf in Les Gets
Luge in Chatel
Jump park in Chatel - they loved watching others do the huge gap jumps
Both of mine are into MTB, so we do spend a fair bit of time in the mountains on the bikes which they absolutely love, but try to balance that with not deserting Mrs JQ.
As for chalets - we always stay with Hunter in the winter, their chalets are fantastic and service is impeccable - https://hunterchalets.com/
In the summer we've used https://www.poplidays.com/en/ who have a really wide range of options.
The summers are getting busier year on year. Been going summer and winter for over 10 years.
There are runs to sort all tastes and abilities. We used to hire bikes, especially when the youngerster was growing but to hire a decent DH rig or even decent enduro type bike is north of 75gbp a day. We take our own bikes now.
There is some much to do other than MTB ing as others have pointed out. Accommodation is still reasonable even if you don't know someone with a place
Food is expensive, either in the supermarkets or eating out. ( a recent trip to Malta really brought that home)
To be fair we prefer to ride over towards Chatel, but Les Gets is more family friendly IMHO, easier runs and generally the riders are less intense, but if you do want to throw yourself down a tough run there is always Mont Chery, where the world cup downhill runs. There are a few chicken runs to avoid the more extreme bits and some of the world cup run stuff is dismantled.
We don't ride every day, very much fair weather DHers
Lots of place to take trip to but you do really need a car. Not too far away from Lake Geneva or Evian either or if you want to got further afield Chamonix is worth a day trip.

Yes.
I think I first went in 2007, and I've been going twice most years since. Once with my mates and again with my family in August.
It's expanded massively in the last 10 years, which yes means more bike parks. Les Gets Bike Park is probably the most 'bike parky' of the lot, Morzine Bike Park is a lot techier when it gets into the trees, Chatel is mad as ever. There are others too.
The routes between the towns are a good as ever, proper XC / Enduro stuff.
It's still the best MTB resort for Apres

I'm assuming the lift passes still cover you to go out to Champery? That was always my fave day whenever I was out there, Swiss National then over to Champery, proper tracks! I haven’t ridden the Swiss Cup track for ages. The game has changed a LOT in recent years. There’s plenty of proper tracks all over the area now.

It would have been between 2007 and 2010 when I was last out there so yeah I can imagine it's changed a LOT! I haven’t ridden the Swiss Cup track for ages. The game has changed a LOT in recent years. There’s plenty of proper tracks all over the area now.

We used to stay at Le Boomerang in Les Gets. Does anyone remember that place??
Stayed there last year. It’s now on the ground floor of a new apartment block. Flats above it are lovely. Actually met the owner this year at the restaurant he’s just opened in Morzine, top bloke. Also done the Boomerang in the past, wouldn't stay in Les Gets anymore, Morz has better access to the whole region. The guy used to/still does have a bar in Linderetts, was very hospitable with lunch there once, with aperitifs and digestifs, a wild afternoon of riding was had after that lunch!
