Decathlon or Halfords folding bike for 6'3" rider?
Discussion
Any tall riders got experience of riding the Decathlon Tilt 120 folding bike?
I'm 6'3" (190cm) & 14 stone (196 lbs / 89 Kg). I've come from one of Decathlon's road-bikes but they're no longer for me & although something like one of their Riverside hybrid bikes would be ideal, I really want/need something I can put in the boot of a small car (Kia Picanto) & store in the utility cupboard of a flat when I work away & so a folder would be perfect in that sense. I'd likely use it twice a week for 16 mile rides on cycle paths & sometimes a gravel/dirt path.
From Decathlon's website it appears that the Tilt 120 folder is suitable only for riders up to 185cm (6' 1"). I had a seat on it in the store but there's little sense of what it would be like to own & put a few miles on when you try it for 10 meters up an aisle in the shop!
My other consideration is a Halfords Carrera Intercity Disc 8-speed folder for £350. Their website says it is suitable for riders up to 6'3". I don't really want to spend much more than this for a bike that will largely live in my car & be used for casual fun/exercise when I'm working away from home.
A bigger car is not an option (the Picanto is our cheap second car which I mostly use) and I don't want to have to use roof-bars or a rack so that's why I'm inclined towards a folder.
Any opinions?

Yes.
My Tern 20“ folder came with a slightly too short seatpost (34mm diameter) but there is a longer one available that I bought and installed. If you get a decent deal on the folder you want then there will be an aftermarket seatpost available to make it fit.
Plus, non-Brompton folding bikes don’t hold their value second hand, so have a look what’s available locally on Gumtree. Mine was £170 with lights and a pump, I think they’re £400ish new. There is value out there.
A 20“ folder will be fine for sticking in the back of a city hatchback or unobtrusive storage in a small flat.
