Afternooon guys,

After selling my Accord, we're left with my 3 seat work van and my wifes Jazz. Unfortunately neither will work for the 4 of us to go away, so I've been looking at roof bars for the Jazz so we can take roof box/bikes. I've got a set of feet/mounts coming for the Jazz, that suit the Thule Wingbar Evo bars, so just need to get the bars. The 'configurator' on Thules site says 118cm bar. I'm trying to maximise the space on the roof, so have been thinking of getting a longer pair of bars. They come in 127,135 and 150cm. I was thinking the 135/150 but I'm not sure how far in slot on the underside of the bars go. Has anyone got any of the longer sizes of wingbar and could have a look and measure. I can't even find any pictures of the underside to get a general feel of it. It may be that the slot could be machinend longer so I can use the longest bars, and getting a longer set will serve well for the future when we get another big car, but don't want to waste them if they can't be made to fit. The foot set is on it's way from Ebay, so not likely to have it until next week and then I can measure what it would need to be when fitted to the roof of the mighty Jazz!

Thanks

Don’t do it you will just hit your head all the time. Trust me I have the scars.
If you fit a roof box what will you do with the extra bar space?
