Gravel rides around Cardiff?

Going to be in Cardiff for the long weekend, got a nice gravel bike (Creo) and really enjoyed some rides around Scotland last Easter on what I think is gravel roads?

Currently the bike has 28mm Gravelking tires, don’t really want to go out and buy bigger tiers 24hrs before travelling but could be persuaded if the right routes need them.

Any suggestions for off road routes around Cardiff area/

Absent any locals pitching in, your best bet is probably to have look on Trailforks or Komoot.

Take the Taff Trail to Caerphilly and then the Shirhowey trail to Cwmcarn, lap around the Cwmcarn forest drive and maybe explore some fire roads and all the way back to Cardiff .
