I have picked up a 2nd hand (but new ADV 8.6.

Rides beautifully but, and this is a really stupid Q, I have changed down the gears with the little levels inside the brake levers but have no ide how to get the gears to move in the opposite direcrtion! Online manual is too gernberic and no pictures.

Any ADV 8.6 riders advise?

If it's got a Shimano groupset then usually it's moving the whole brake lever inwards on each side towards the stem of the bike.

Good choice of bike. Really enjoy mine, and a bargain price.

I bought it from a lad who had it replaced on insurance after his old bvike got stolen and he had decided to stop cycling. So it had never been riden). Got back and halfords had knocked £125 off it! Still a good price and it rides well. Sora gears are very smooth.
