Hamax seat bracket fault?
Discussion
Anyone had this before? I have a child bike seat with one of these brackets, and at the weekend one of the legs just refused to lock in - it's worked fine up to that point although in the later versions they've redesigned it so maybe it's dodgy..

Anyone encountered this before and have a solution?

For the benefit of anyone here in the future - This was the fault, behind the big grey button you've got this green plastic bracket that has both the dots that show through, and the bits that click into the legs to secure it.

As you can see, on one side the plastics snapped, meaning that leg couldn't click in, and the plastic managed to migrate upwards in the housing and wedge itself so the button couldn't be pushed. I managed to open it enough with a pair of screwdrivers either side of the button (proper way is on the back behind the tube mount but didn't seem to work) to retrieve this bit and am awaiting a response from hamax to see if they can give me a replacement.
The hire place that saved the day when this fault occurred had exactly the same fault occur but didn't get into why, so perhaps this'll be useful for the future..
