Thanks for the recommendation, they are about 1 1/2 hours from me but will keep them in mind if I need to get a repair doing and they don’t require the bike stripping which is handy. Have you used their services?

I wouldn't let that damage worry me.
I am getting my LBS to go over it on Sunday for a check up, I will bring this to their attention and see what they say. I think the pedal landed first and would have taken the shock away and then that made the rear come in contact but I’m not 100% This section of the bike has to be super strong any way if I am correct.

I've given them a "follow" on instagram. I'm in the process of a making a claim after a collision and while I'm looking at buying a new (gravel) bike, I may well look into a repair for my damaged road bike, for a bit of surreptitious N+1 action. My LBS has details of another company for me, so I'll have to do a bit of research on the matter.
