Looking at getting a Thule yepp Mini, is the bracket that come with it the same as the Slim bracket you can purchase as a separate part?

I am fitting it to a MTB hard tail, is anyone has any pics or info for fitting fitting that would be great

TIA.

I had a yepp mini but with this bracket - it replaces a stem spacer and clamps over the stem.

I can’t really see how the one you refer to would work without needing a lot of space between the bottom of the stem and the top of the head tube/race. It was tight with the fitting I used!

From memory it comes with the 'mini' adaptor as standard which differs to the 'slim fit' which can be purchased separately.

We moved our Yepp Mini over a variety of bikes and had all 3 fittings. It was a bit of trial and error as we found out that bikes are fussy buggers when it comes to which will fit! It's all great once fitted though.

I have been looking at this one as a slimmer bracket, is this the one you are referring to?

With the supplied one, I assume you still need spacers because of the way it clamps around the stem?

It seems it’s made more for hybrid bikes, it seems a lot to spend with the hope it works but I would prefer my daughter to be looking forward and experiencing the bike ride instead of looking at my behind.

I have spoken to Thule and they have said that the ahead is only for the mini and not the Nexxt, the later being 1.9kg.

On their website it says that this is suitable for ahead stems and the ahead bracket is not compatiable, where the Yepp mini does not and says you need the metal ahead bracket.
