Garmin/Iphone issue

I have a Garmin Edge 25 which is paired with both my work iphone and my own iphone.
Got back from a ride a little while ago and saved the ride on the Edge, it should link to one of the phones over bluetooth and on to the web. Nothing appears on Strava. Looked at my phone and the phone had forgotten my Garmin account details, logged in again and no devices paired - strange.
Looked at the work phone - exactly the same, forgotten account details and no device paired.
Neither phone would pair, at one stage my phone said it was paired but when I tried to sync it decided it wasn't.
Restarted the Edge and restarted each phone. Lo and behold my phone would pair, more interesting was that the work phone had decided that it was already paired having told me it wasn't before it was restarted.
Anyone else had similar issues and do I just put it down to experience?
