Schwalbe "urban" tyres. Citizen and Road Cruiser difference?
Discussion
I have bought a hardly-used Boardman hybrid for commuter/pub/shopping/hack duties.
It is fitted with Schwalbe Citizen 700x35 tyres (possibly oem only)
My old bike has Schwalbe Road Cruiser 700x35 tyres fitted, which I have been very pleased with for urban road and light off-road canal path, bridleway, stone track ( "gravel"?) use.
Does anybody know where these tyres sit relative to each other in the Schwalbe spectrum of tyres?

No idea about Road Cruise but the Citizen tires on my Boardman 8.9e were pretty rubbish. Started to puncture every other week after just about 1000 miles, switched to Marathon+ must be coming up to 2 years soon. No had a single puncture, grip/'feel' of the Marathons are pretty bad though.

Citizen is more road orientated but will cope with smooth gravel path, Road cruiser has more aggressive tread in the gravel path scenario but will be slightly slower on tarmac. It is fitted with Schwalbe Citizen 700x35 tyres (possibly oem only)

Whilst giving the new bike a fettle, and fitting the better parts from my old bike, I was able to compare the Road Cruiser and the Citizen.
The carcasses look similar.
The Road Cruiser has slightly more tread, with more sipes, and the compound ("Green") feels softer to my thumbnail than the Citizen ("Active"). Both have K-Guard 3 puncture protection.
The Road Cruiser, however, weighs around 100g more than the Citizen. The sidewall is much thicker.
I have fitted the Road Cruisers to test them on the commute.

Drop Schwalbe an email. They will give you all the information you need. Their Tech people are very helpful.
This was a good idea. They were helpful. Basically: The Citizen tyres are OEM fit only
Other than the tread pattern, the Citizen and Road Cruiser are considered equivalent.
As I wrote above, though, the sidewalls are noticeably thicker on the Road Cruisers and the rubber feels softer. I am using the the Road Cruisers and they do feel better to ride on the road and dirt/gravel terrain.
