I removed the cassette from my bike yesterday to give it a decent clean after a lot of riding on crappy winter roads. It had seized on the freehub and took a fair bit of work with a screwdriver to get it off, during which two of the spacers between the single sprockets split. I've looked online for replacements but the only spacers I can find are for running 10/9 speed cassettes on 11 speed hubs, rather than the ones that go between the sprockets.

Does anyone know where I can get some replacements? The cassette is an 11 speed Ultegra 11-30 and according to this Shimano document, I need two 'thick' and one 'thin' spacers but have no idea what thickness they actually are.

The video on GCN made this look like such a simple job!

SJS list Shimano cassette spacers

I guess the other option is to buy a new cassette (though Ultegra ones are eek still), borrow the spacers and re-use them when you eventually need to replace the existing cassette.

Where are you based? pretty sure I have an old ultegra cassette I could send you the spacers from - will check later.

Many thanks for the link to that site. It was really helpful and even had a copy of Shimano's exploded diagram for my cassette which showed exactly the bits I needed and the part numbers, which they've also got in stock.

Thank you, that's really kind of you but I'd just hit order on the SJS site and come back on here to thank Harpoon when I saw your message.

No problem - SJS are great for those little Shimano spares.
