Just though I'd put a recommendation out there for those into MTB and trail riding.

I have just come back for an awesome stag weekend, hosted by Bike Ranch Snowdonia. The guys couldn't do enough for us, it was fully catered, even lunch was brought out to us on the trails! Meaning I rode with a small bumbag, rather than a day sack.

We had two guided rides by pedalmtb, having never done a guided ride before I can safely say it is the way forward to get the most out of riding an area you don't know. We rode some absolutely nails technical tracks in some far from ideal conditions. But it was absolutely awesome.

People are quick to complain online, but I'd like to give a big up to these guys for faciliating such a seamlessly awesome weekend.

Having never riden in North Wales before I would highly recommend it, such a good variety.

Sounds good - I love riding around CyB. Did you do the "proper" trails or did they take you away from that and onto more off-piste stuff away from the trail centre?

Was a mix but focused around off piste, though we did venture up to slabs at the end of the day which was different, thankfully the group was fairly capable, so everyone managed to get down without too many scrapes. Supersteep, super technical. We were going to go to Dyfi Bikepark on the second day, but that closed for the weekend due to weather. So we did some riding in that kind of area (was asked not to disclose exact location). Which is even steeper and even more technical. Reminded me very much of French off piste riding.

Ace, thanks. Was planning on a CyB trip later in the year and may look into these guys if they show you round the funky stuff which I've never been able to find on strava etc!

Looks good - my stag do at CyB ended up with my best man breaking his jaw, 10 minutes into our "gentle warm up" on the blue trail.
