New bike 6mths ago with full Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 Di2 gearset. Turns out the cassette has a loose rivet after less than 2000km.

£3,700 for a gearset and it's quality is worse than the 5yr old Mechanical Dura-ace gearset I've got, the 8yr old Ultregra and even the 10 year old Campo Record gearset I have on my first road bike.

Warranty is three years for Dura-Ace, talk to the retailer you purchased from or Shimano.

Oh, worry not, it's a warranty job, already accepted and the LBS has already ordered the replacement...hopefully to arrive in time for an Alpine trip next week...(!)

Could be just an anomaly. I've had zero issues with mine. I have a spare cassette if I need one though, the dealer in Italy sent me a different range to what I asked for and then sent me the correct cassette but I've kept the 'wrong' one on.

I prefer the Dura Ace 9200 Di2 on my Dogma F to the SRAM Red I have on my Wilier Zero6 - I find SRAM has more gear issues than Shimano, from experience on both road and gravel bikes.
The mechanical Shimano XTR has been flawless on my MTB - a joy to race on.

I agree - the Dura-ace is a dream to ride on, both this 9200 and the 9000 mechanical on my F10, I way prefer it to the Campo I have, plus I have SRAM on my Gravel bike, and the Dura-ace is like butter to use.....but it does seem to be fragile.

Hopefully it will just be an anomaly, but this issue and firmware issues have already dogged the ownership experience.
