Hi

As above, can anyone rec a tour company please - I know the correct answer answer is stick a credit card and a toothbrush in a jersey pocket and tough it out but bear with me

Im having a reunion with some mates and whilst we're all decent cyclists we would quite like to do some point to point pottering and chilling rather than a full on smash fest. Destination variable although a C-C or Scots trip are appealing at the moment

We would like bike friendly hotels and someone to transport our luggage each day (see toothbrush comment above) and take us back to the start point at the end

Ive found a number of companies who will do this however only one allows me to identify which hotels they use which are actually low to medium cost and I can clearly see Im paying a massive premium to have my bags shifted despite the accomodation being described in their website as 4*

Consequently suggestions would be most welcome if youve used anyone in particular who actually does put you up in a nice hotel - Im mindful they are running a business but £800 each above what a hotel would cost to shift a bag and a 2h minibus ride back at the end is spendy.....

Cheers

Edit: the 800 notes is for x4 50km transfers and I'm currently wondering if we could sort our own out with local taxis??

This guy has run a few bespoke tours for our club: https://broomwagoncycletours.co.uk/ He seems to be well regarded by the people who’ve been.

There's a Premier Inn in every town. Very bike friendly. Request a ground floor room and you can wheel your bike straight into your room.

Strong agree and have used them for overnights before races and sportives for this very reason but forwarding luggage and return to start point would be nice and I'm happy to pay for both. Just not feel like I'm being ripped off

Not sure if these guys can help, I`ve done a few driving support jobs for them.
