Saddle and seatpost - best way to secure?
Discussion
Got myself a lovely new Hope Carbon seat post and a WTB Volt saddle and I am very happy with them.
Just stood their admiring them after fitting and then I realised the obvious branding probably makes them quite covetable.
What is the best way to secure seat posts and saddle ? cable lock that goes through the rails?

How long are you going to be away from it at a time? Like bike locks in general, I suspect there will be no lock that will stop a determined thief sadly.
Would it be feasible to take the post and saddle with you if you are worried about it? Probably less likely the bike will get nicked that way too as a bonus.

I occasionally leave it at the station all day when I make an appearance at work but I fear I have made a few too many upgrades in the past few months and my bike is a bit too bling now - branded wheels and now things like the seat post - I might just walk to the station from now on
