Ok strange one, I need to tighten the screw on the cap as it has come loose but cannot seem to find the correct tool, would anyone with this shoe know the size.

Thanks

hmm guessing you have northwave shoes featuring a BOA system

if so it's a torx head but not sure on the size you need.

have you looked here:

I do mate, it’s the screw in the Center of the dial. I had a good look online and some places mention hex so I tried the smallest I have and that’s 1.5 and it doesn’t fit lol

I think the one on these shoes are their own design and not called a boa but it’s the same principle.

If it is a BOA then you used to be able to get a replacement mechanism for free from BOA.

I haven’t used their service for a couple of years. You used to go one their website answer a few questions and they would ost a new BOA mechanism out to you. They are easy to change,

It isn’t unfortunately, it is northwave own system.

Might be made by atop then, think they are the only real boa alternative. Highly unlikely that northwave make their own

BOAis a registered trademark, so if it says BOA on it then it will be BOA.

I am sure mine weren’t branded BOA either.

Repair kits are here:

It defiantly isn’t a BOA, the shoe in question is a Northwave Raptor Artic.

Seems northwave did do their own called slwe. Only one reference to it I could quickly find:

https://enduro-mtb.com/en/eurobike-2015-northwave-...

However it's still torx by the grainy image OP, guess someone you know will have a set

The ones on mine defiantly appear to be a hex. Thank you got the reference though.
