Good morning all, what do people use or recommend for a GoPro mount to their bike. Thinking a genuine GP mount for handlebars but unsure.

Been also having a look at the Stuntman chest mount and the GoPro chesty V2 If anyone has pros and cons using either.

What I know is I do not like the idea of helmet mount ones.

Thanks

Handlebar mounts aren't great. Give a very immediate sense of motion but also shaky results even with stabilisation. Chest mount for the win, chin mount if using a full face helmet. With a Go pro, filming is the easy bit. Editing is the pain in the arse.

Thanks mate for your reply, I am only going to use it for my commute to and from work, nothing too extreme.

Even thinking a chesty that GP sell or a Stuntman

Yeah GoPro chest Mount is the best option I reckon for cycling with one camera. Helmet cam if you want to start a ‘look at the crap drivers’ YouTube channel.

Wont be a YouTube sensation anytime soon, just for safety when riding to work morning/evening. I think a chest mount will be good and the reviewers of the stuntman look pretty good.

One on the underside of a Garmin/wahoo mount is best option, cleaning space on bars for lights etc. I use a GoPro session on my road bike when it’s busy,

Something like this

That’s a great option too, I shall pop to my local and have a look.

Top cap mount like this..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195473578203?hash=item2...

Ensures it's always central.

Ok update time.

Went for the Stuntman chest mount and hooked the go pro up to it and it fits and feels pretty good. Will try and test over the weekend. Thanks for everyone’s advice recommendations,
