E bike racks for a Tesla

Looking for a tow ball rack to take 2x 27kg Ebikes for a Tesla model Y

Any suggestions out there. Looking for ease of use, looks as if we need to budget around £500. Ouch!

Buzzrack E-Scorpion 2 or XL2. They take two 30Kg bikes, are easy to use, and fold up very neatly for storage and handling. About £350.

Check the manual for your car and see what loads you can apply to the towbar.

I have a M3LR and decided against the towbar option for carrying bikes (3x non-ebikes) as it went over the prescribed limits. From memory it was 55kg and there was also futher (warranty) get-outs based on the position of the Centre of Gravity of the loaded carrier. Whilst you'll always find pics from somebody carrying more bikes then 55kg i decided it wasnt worth the agro.

Should you decide to go with the towbar mount, id recommend Atera bike racks, I have a Strada DL3 which has served us well, when we had a car with a useable towbar!

I have had a look at the specs and the vertical load limit is 72 kgs, so if I remove the batteries from the bikes getting them down to around 25 kgs each Plus 15 kgs for the rack so we should be good.
