I'm after a bike rack but as I have two different cars I don't want to buy two separate roof racks etc. and I'm tempted by the Rock Bros suction bike rack on Amazon.

I'll only ever carry 1 bike (29er MTB (not an e-bike))but I'm a bit concerned that the single bike carrier might wobble, the 2 bike carrier has an extra sucker and it's a bit longer so I was tempted to order the 2 bike carrier as it may be more stable? On the 2 bike carrier the bikes are on each end rather than the middle so I could be overthinking it!

Does anyone have any experience with this bike rack? Is the single bike rack stable enough?

Not this specific one, but I have the Sea Sucker single bike suction mount - 3 suckers on the front that the forks bolt onto, and one rear with a velcro strap to hold the wheel down.

Never had any issues, and it's been up to motorway speeds, down bouncy country lanes etc. All good!

I didnt go seasucker but got a treefrog one and havent looked back since!

Was thinking of getting a rockbros one but ultimately decided it wasn't an area I wanted to try and save money on.

I've got a SeaSucker bomber 3, and it's great, have used it on multiple cars and haven't had an issue.
The only annoying this is, you have to take it off the roof when you park up, as it could easily go missing, but apart from that, all good!

I’ve got the 3 bike rockbros one on the glass roof of a Tesla.

Works brilliantly, first couple of journeys are a bit of a leap of faith…. But now take 3 bikes , some of which are old school heavy, and sits at motorway speeds without the slightest issue. Just clean the surface first and use a spot of water to aid sealing.

As a side benefit they have also been deployed to install a very large heavy mirror and pull dents out of van side wink
