I have bike trailer that I used today in the wet for the first time, and resulted in the trailer and my panniers being covered in sand and crap off the road

The wheels are about 15", and the frame around them ought to make it relatively easy to fix mudguards to something. Any ideas of what might fit to stop them splattering crap everywhere?

I think the wheels will be 16" (unless they are very obscure) if so then Bromptons have 16" wheels so you might be able to adapt something for that?

Perhaps slightly wide, but would something like these work?

Never sure how they're supposed to be measured, the wheel is about 12" and it's about 15" across the tyre.

I think those car trailer ones would be a bit too wide at 210mm, but I'll check how wide the frame around the wheel is.

Brompton or folding bike is a good should but not sure how I'd attach a conventional bike mudguard. I think I need something that can attach at the back and then maybe a couple of stays to the trailer's frame.

Should be fairly easy to bodge something onto there.

The simple guards linked, with a bit of hot knife work and cable ties?

Something like a Mudhugger each side?

3 bits of plywood? Like: \_/ :but the other way up!

Old 5 litre screenwash/oil bottles cut down might be the right sort of size??

Depends how professional you want it to look, and maybe how much of a hoarder of old clips, mounts, (or even mud guards!) etc, etc you are.
