Day 1 is a TT along the Via Verde, a new-ish coastal shared bike/footpath.

I know the owner of a yacht moored at the marina at the finish, have already messaged him trying to arrange a day out!

Day 2 is a long flat day, although it comes inland near my place.

Then it goes off to the toe, before returning on day 7 for the first summit finish of the 2023 Giro at Campo Imperatore. I made it up there in May, it is a truly epic place.

Actual route details are limited at the moment, but this is Santo Stefano di Sessanio seen from above, the route is heading this way on the road to the summit. Santo Stefano was badly hit by the quake in 2009, losing a medieval tower and church. They were paying people to move there at one time...

This is on the climb to the summit. I'd never ridden up here before, almost binned it off as the last effort at the end of a long day's climbing is almost too much.

At the summit, is a hotel built at the height of Mussolini's powers. They had planned 3, to spell out God King and Victory, or similar, but only the one was built. Made famous when the Germans sent paratroopers and gliders in, to "rescue" Benito from house arrest after the Italians surrendered in '43.

That coast path is a fantastic, if not very technical, location for the TT.
