Budget Wide MTB Shoes
Discussion
Any suggestions?
I have pretty wide feet - not a problem in normal shoes but always an issue with cycling shoes. On the road, I wear Lake wide fitting. I need to get some MTB shoes but really can’t afford the equivalent Lake. Size 45 for length.
I’d prefer to spend =<£100. Unfortunately I’m also under some time pressure so can’t do high street shopping nor Decathlon. Does anyone have experience of the current Planet X line? There also seem to be Giro Privateer or DHB Dorica?
Thanks in advance for any experience.

I have the same issue. I purchased loads of shoes online recently but they all got returned as they were no where near wide enough. I ended up with DHB Doricas and they fit me perfectly. I've been really impressed with them although they do feel a bit cheap but that's because they are. I have pretty wide feet - not a problem in normal shoes but always an issue with cycling shoes.
