700cc wheel?

My mate is after a replacement rear wheel for his Carrera Crossfire 2.

It’s a few years old and has 700cc wheels with disc brakes.

I’m struggling to find the right wheel that will fit - please can someone recommend?

I'm not sure why you are struggling..might help to clarify that.
700c (or 622) wheels are common, Disc brake hubs are common, axle standard is usually adaptable to what you have on the bike, just find the correct width of rim.
Alternatively, just take it back to Halfords and ask them to sort it out
