Anyone have any innovative ideas of where to hold/carry your phone on the bike? I generally have it in my jersey pocket but I'm keen to hold it on the bike somewhere, not to see/look at but I just want it away from vital organs if poss. I'm not really into the current trend of bar bags and whilst I have a small saddle bag (tube, levers etc.) it wouldn't hold a smartphone.

Lots of options on amazon and the likes but I reckon someone out there has something better going on!!

It's easier for me as i use it as my cycle app, camera, music etc and a Quadlock is great and worked well for my recent hr daily adventure. However for your secondary use it's probably overkill

I like quadlock, maybe I could attach to the underside of the bars with this - keep it out of the way..

Another vote for Quadlock here.

Just mount it on your stem, with the bands, if you're concerned about hitting it in an accident.

I got one of these comedy rubbery jobs, cost about four quid and it's great.
Has survived some moderately inept off-road 'action'.

Actually that's pretty good, you can put it almost anywhere with that. Thanks smile

Shove my phone in one of those top tube bags. Fits quite nicely along with a few gels and cereal bars. Handy that my Bryton bike comp now shows txt messages. Bonus feature from last firmware update.

Another Quadlock user here, can't go wrong and it is not hugely expensive. I also have the car mount, so you can use your phone in the car as well. Win-win
