Planning 9 days in France in the motorhome in August, Morzine is the normal spot but I'm feeling the family might prefer somewhere less bike focussed this year. Due to the lack of speed of the camper I don't really want to go much beyond the middle of France for time reasons, does anyone know any bike parks or trail centres that have a good mix of blue & red trails?

If there's resorts in the Alps that cater for motorhomes and have a more tourist attractions than Morz, I'd be keen to hear about them too. Looking for a resort with a few swimming pools/slides and maybe a kids club etc.

There’s loads of routes usually way marked all over France but it’s not normal to have a bike park it’s more cross country apart from the Alps.
Try https://www.nafix.fr/ to find routes or events in the area that you find yourself but August is a quiet month due to holidays and weather, too hot !

Thanks for the link, I've had a look at a few of them and they seem like clubs, I'll reach out to a few when I know where we're going and try and get a route map.

Interesting you say it's more XC rides than bike parks, I thought given how good the French are at MTB there'd be loads of bike parks.

Just been out this morning on an organised ride. 42k circuit fully marked out coffee at the start, 2 refreshment stops and wine at the end 6.5 euro all in.
Any tourist information or town hall should have details of local rides and or walks. Remember that you can ride anywhere. Shouldn’t be short of routes but don’t expect alpine terrain.

Did you try the links to traces gps? Like this. https://www.nafix.fr/traces/vtt-50km-5504-30349092...

Have a browse around Utagawa for the area you want to ride.

Thanks for the advice, a quick google seems to get Japanese results?

I hadn't looked at the traces GPS, that's really helpful, thank you.

To be honest I'm not especially looking for uplift riding Alpine style so that's absolutely fine. Hoping to find a blue/red route I can go round with the family or leave them at the campsite and have a bit of fun on the same trail by myself.

I was going to mention the Vosges / Alsace too. Really nice region to discover, amazing food/wine, not massively touristy. Colmar alone is worth a visit.
