Tourers: mounting a front light, Quad Lock and handlebar bag
Discussion
Anyone have any suggestions for managing mounting options on straight handlebars (might apply to all types to be fair)?
I have my front light mounted so that it sits directly in front of my Quad Lock but now I've bought an Ortlieb handlebar bag, I haven't room to mount everything. The Ortlieb bracket wants the space where the Quad Lock sits, immediately to the side of my stem. And if I remove the Quad Lock (don't know where I'd put my phone/nav if I did), the bag would obscure my light.
I'm kind of wishing I'd not bothered with the bag now but I've long wanted one. I've seen other people with them - and often thought one would be useful.

Or possibly some new handlebars...
...these are "only" £29.99... https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBOOGBV2/on-one-geof...
There may even be drop-bar versions of that bar design? It definitely looks like it would give more options for hand-position on a long ride, and there's more "real estate" available for strapping bags and bolting brackets to. All without the potential of a handlebar extender slipping if you overload it or don't tighten it correctly.

Thanks chaps.
I have a handlebar extender already - bought one night after a glass of wine made it look like a cheap something new to play with. I still have it - unused. I've just been down to the garage to see how I might make that work. It requires more thought.
The handlebars are certainly something I've considered. I have those On One Og bars at present, which are slightly swept-back so the ones pictured above probably aren't far off. Thing is, I don't think there's enough room in the "hole" part for the new bag. I've watched a few people who have similar bags mounted on bars with holes like those but where the hole is incomplete - like as if the forward part was cut out. Crap explanation - apologies. Anyway that's given me more though.
Then I saw this:
... which is an official Ortlieb component (or a pair of components). That would certainly work for my light but not the Quad Lock, so I'm thinking about that.
Thanks for the ideas. I'll report back when I've come up with something.
