Anybody using the Garmin RS100?

Evening all,
Has anyone been using the latest Garmin Power meter pedals? I'm contemplating some for summer training. I'm currently using a single sided Stages crank arm but would like to upgrade to dual sided readings with Garmin pedals.
I've seen some reviews from last year by GPLama and DCR showing the pedals had a few quirky drop outs/data anomalies. However I've since seen Garmin have deployed a firmware update to address this issue. I cannot find any reviews that confirm how successful the firmware update has been.
I know the Assiomas have a great reputation but I am specifically looking at the Garmin pedals as I can get around 15% off via work perks.

I bought the RS100 pedals last summer. So far so good. Readings are consistent, set up/pairing is super easy. They’ve needed repairing once or twice but other than that I have no complaints the only issue was a loss of data mid ride that turned out to be the battery cover not fully tightened. I’m forever thinking of getting back into TT’s & for this they’d be ideal.
