Hoping people could help me here with my inner OCD voice.

I currently have a Garmin Edge 130 sat on my stem however I would look to also buy a headlight for my bike. I'd love to get a mount that would enable the GPS to sit above the headlight however I'm after a mount that bolts directly to the stem mount for the handlebar. Think as central as possible in the handlebar and also evenly fixed if that makes sense.

I'm yet to buy the light so if anyone can recommend anything that would all work well together, I would be really grateful.

Any of the stem mounted Garmin mounts on Amazon will do what you want, provided you pick one with an integrated Go-Pro mount.

The stem mount works fine, but be warned, the spacers supplied are made from soft plastic which crushes when you tighten the stem clamp bolts up.

I replaced them with a metal spacer which resolved the issue and enabled me to tighten the clamp fully.

I run a Halfords / BikeHut 1000lm light from it without issue.

If you're not stuck on the stem mount bit, then I'd recommend the Halfords/Bikehut mount. Garmin 1/4 turn mount on top, and a Go-Pro style mount underneath. It doesn't mount to the stem but it's offset so if you bolt it to the handlebars tight against the side of the stem the light and GPS unit are centred in front of the stem...

It costs £10. I have two on different bikes and will be buying one for a third bike too.

Once you have that, decide on a light to go with it. Halfords do some reasonably priced lights supplied with brackets that will fit that mount, 500, 1000, or 1600 lumens...

https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-accessories/... £29.99 for 500 lumens

https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-accessories/... £44.99 for 1000 lumens

https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-accessories/... £59.99 for 1600 lumens

I have two of the 1600 lumen lights. Battery life on full power is good for 3 hours, but out on the roads and on public right of way type "off road" stuff you'll never need full power so you end up getting the peace of mind of longer battery life. And if you're blasting around proper single-track stuff you've got 3 hours riding time after the sun's gone down.

For £5 you can also get a remote control thumb switch for the light, useful on a MTB for when you want to shift between settings but feel the need to keep your hands on the grips/brake levers... https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-parts/handle...
