Caught sight of a rather unusual looking part of the race convoy today, initially I just saw it in an overhead shot and thought it might be some sort of 50s Porsche style kit car, but then clocked it at the finish too. What is it? Diahatsu Copen was all I could think of but doesn’t look quite right to me?

Cheers, never heard of them but a quick Google shows I was closer with my immediate impression!

They bought the moulds to a 'reimagined' 356 kit car, and then set about making the whole thing considerably uglier.

Awesome! My son detests Porsches, so this would be right up my street if I had the cash to splash. I can imagine rolling up to give him a lift in a car that "looks like a Porsche, but considerably less desirable..." hehe
