I’d be wary of that as you’ll be exceeding the leverage both the frame and post will have been specced for. Maybe a longer post can be sourced if it’s a round profile in one of the common diameters. That way, at least there’s a chance the post will have sufficient rigidity even if the frame is beyond limits; I’d be much less concerned about the frame holding up assuming a decent inserted length remains with a longer overall length.

Not quite as cheap as a seat clamp with a taller collar but maybe get a taller dropper?

What size have you got at the moment?

One up do them all the way to 240mm

Measure the complete length of your existing post and then see if there's a longer one available.ie a 200mm brand x dropper has a total length of 559mm
