Is it still possible to obtain such a thing? I have an old Scott MTB that I was hoping to put suspension forks on for my wife to use at weekends (it's also my town/station bike so have no desire to spend money replacing it) but its proving very difficult to find some.

These are on amazon, but I have never heard of the brand before? Are they likely to survive even the <500 miles a year the bike does?

Any suggestions for where I might find some or merchantable quality please?

Edit: Just found these: https://bankruptbikeparts.co.uk/collections/forks/...

Thoughts please?

When I had a bike with a 1” steerer I purchased the right size steerer tube and fitted it to the forks I wanted.
Back then I used RST suspension forks which had a replaceable steerer tube so they could be adjusted to various steerer sizes using the right steerer tube.
