a friend of mine (who's actually a car designer for aston) has a hobby of building unusual italian retro bikes in the same way that one people like building lego. he's quite a interesting bloke and also has a fleet of italian 70's exotica that he also like to tinker with.

anyway on the bike front he just enjoys building them, he never rides them. he's got three finished in his house and he wants to buy some more to build etc but really needs to sell some first, apart from fleabay is there a place where it would be good to advertise them? the bits that he uses to build these bikes are circa £3k and they are pretty special and you can imagine to what degree they have being put together with his skill set....

any ideas so i can pass it on to him

cheers

There’s a few Facebook groups, High End & Vintage Road Bikes is a good one.

There are plenty of brand specific selling groups on FB, so depending on what he has look out for them there.

The main ones are Colnago, Bianchi, De Rosa, Gios, Willier etc but there are also countless smaller Italian brands so a generic vintage bike group might be better.
