Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).

On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."

Choose carefully: cyclist or McDonald's? It is worth considering.

So what that actually says is that you definitely SHOULD buy a bike. Sooooo many benefits to the new bicycle owner, and the only groups of shysters that lose out are money men and big pharma. So you get fit, save money, AND get to "stick it to da man". Win. Win.

I paid for my bike on my credit card, it's insured, I have to fuel my body with food to make it go, have you seen how much it costs to service some bikes (+parts)?

I also went to hospital when I binned my bike on a round about too.
