occasionally getting crazy cramp in my adductors after a long/hard road ride. When im home for rest of day, i struggle to move just from sofa to kitchen every time i do, i fee like adductors are going to go mental!

Saw physio, he said stop holding legs together trying to be aero.... i dont think thats the answer esp as i have taken advise on board..... Anyone got over similar isues?

TIA

really weird. I assume you are stretching etc?

Not sure how having your knees spread apart will help with this cramp either, but then not a Dr.

I always roll my quads after an intense session, hurts like hell but worth it

My understanding from bike fitters and physios is that abductor cramps are fatigue based. The more you ride what you’re riding, the less it’ll happen.

Just to revisit this.... physio (and he is a cyclist) had never seen this before, thought it might be setup. I got home and put a builders level saddle>bars and sure enough i could see there was too much forward lean on saddle. Just been away to Greece and did 200+ hilly miles on a hire bike and issue settles pretty quickly. Went for a ride over weekend and issue didnt occur so happy ending beer
