I really wanted to, but I just can't find the time this weekend, not that I was going to camp, not with my back!
I really hope it's a success, they've been pushing ticket sales on Social Media, they deserve it, between the flooding and Covid, they've taken a hell of a beating
Agreed. Si and the team have done an amazing job despite all the set backs. How they haven't ruined themselves financially I'll never know I really hope it's a success, they've been pushing ticket sales on Social Media, they deserve it, between the flooding and Covid, they've taken a hell of a beating

I’m going. Never been before but remember reading about it as an 11 year old c1990.
I’ve entered my kids into the dual slalom, downhill and quad eliminators.
I’m probably going to be entering one of my retrobikes in the show and shine (and perhaps my sons matching bike)
(Another) Gratuitous pic
Stunning. I'll keep an eye open for you 😀I’ve entered my kids into the dual slalom, downhill and quad eliminators.

I'll be in either my pace rc529;
Or my rather unique zaskar (can't miss it);
Was going to bring my xizang for the show and shine but having issues getting the front drive train set up so leaving it at home for now
Safely back home now and have to say I really enjoyed the event although, for me, it was about the children’s races that my kids entered and the experience for them.
Plus the retrobike show. Some stunning bikes there and lots of love and appreciation from the judges and also spectators during the weekend.
It did also make me wish i’d sorted out my Yeti. Target for next year will be to re-build the Manitou mk 1 forks (elastomers turned to liquid) and enter the mens slalom and downhill course for fun.
Definitely recommend the event to others who have not been.
