Did my first tour last year in N Ireland and June this year did the John Muir Way. Not camping B&B's. I'm using my 22 ish year old Scott Atacama Hybrid

. Thinking I may like to treat myself to something new but not stupid money.
For road and trails with luggage and without when at home. Probably rack and panniers rather than bike bag

Ideally would like a flat bar gravel bike.

But what about: ON-ONE ROCKY ROAD SRAM SX TITANIUM ADVENTURE BIKE or Kona Unit x?

Suggestions budget up to say £1750.

I may be able to use cycle to work scheme. Last used it for bike bought March 20 so paid off now. Low rate tax payer

There's masses of choice, too much really.
Missed Surly Ogre on ebay

I’m a Thorn fan,a tandem but I have no doubt their normal bikes will be very comfortable.

Spa Cycles (Harrogate) make some decent tourers apparently.
Titanium frame to your preferred spec and budget.

Mixed reviews for customer service. I've only used them for mail order but never had a problem.
The bikes themselves appear very good although there is a waiting list.

I really like the look of the Sonder Camino, in fact I nearly bought one. They do a flat bar version and it's got mounting points for racks etc. It's well under your budget so you could also get the bags etc if you're using Cycle to Work.

The On One/Planet X stuff does seem to be quite good value too.

Thanks for that. I've got bags so bike only. Not that I really NEED one. It'd just be nice!!
