I have an older On One Inbred, only used for trails.

It has run with some RST M29 forks, but they are starting to loose pressure, they do service kits but I have no clue and the two local bike shops were not interested in refreshing them.

These have 100mm travel and I would like similar, or maybe a smidge more.

I have no clue when it comes to forks what is out there, is there a fork for a reasonable price people suggest?

Or should I stick a carbon fixed fork on it, use it as a city bike and think about buying something new?

Looking at the RST website there are a few tech videos on how to service them, here.

They seem like budget fork, so pretty much anything modern is going to be an upgrade. I'm guessing the biggest issue is finding somewhere that has something in stock.

I tend to stick with with Rock Shox Judys for my budget builds as they are easy to get hold off and work fine.

Thanks for that, I might have a go at refurbing these.
Although the RST forks tend to be budget, these were pretty well reviewed and always preformed well. They also come in at just under 1800g, so a pretty good weight.

Those Ruby Rockshox look OK, but they are 2900g, which is pretty heavy.

Maybe it doesn't matter?

But thanks, they would work and a good price. Found a pair at £136.

There don't seem to be all that many shocks with a straight steerer either, hadn't even considered that.
