Anybody had experience with their new cycling shoe range, or other gear?
I have some bits from a few years ago, like the 'different' look since many brands are similar in style these days, but quality from then was only average. Dont wear pads for more than commute distance, pockets aren't perfect etc . Fine when I bought <-50%.
Love the look of their shoes - road , casual and now gravel but haven't risked full price.
The new gravel ones have come out as the smell from my shimanos is starting to get untameable, so tempted, but even pricier than road at 160.

Ha well yes this kit thing is going too far. Think I saw a gravel specific saddle!?
Label is relevant for shoes, though not sure the difference with MTB. Have 2 bolt SPD's and want to be able to walk off the bike. That's mostly because its my commuter, but often relevent on lightly packed overnighters.
Regardless, also interested in the road ones if any good!
Their casual 'velosamba's are actually great looking but I figured wouldn't be very relevent. Just wear normal shoes if rolling a couple miles to meet friends, need durability etc for commuting/longer rides.

I only have experience with their Five Ten MTB range. That gravel shoe sounds like it's been named to show up on a google search!
You can get a voucher code for 30% off atm. It works - I used it last week.

Free delivery and returns direct with Adidas. Worth noting the sizing can be a little inconsistent between models.

Unfortunately all their new cycle shoes are excluded from any discounts or codes. If they weren't I'd have some Velosambas by now.You can get a voucher code for 30% off atm. It works - I used it last week.

Doesn't look like £160 worth of shoes tbh, especially in the garish colour.
I think what it probably means is a 30% price hike!Bacon Is Proof said:
Gravel specific?
You're meant to ride your bike, not walk it!
It just means that more thought has been put into weatherproofing compared with a road only shoe. You're meant to ride your bike, not walk it!
I have never known the weather to be affected by the surface I am riding on.
Looks like a great range. A few of their classic trainer designs have been used to make some cycling shoes too.
I’m surprised others shoe companies haven’t done more of this.
I’d gotten into the habit of cycling in any old shoe on my SPD pedals for short rides to the shops etc and came of my bike last week when my trainer slipped off the front of the pedals, so I’m nursing bruised ribs and grazed elbows knees and fingers.

I can see the point completely.
It’s just more options for people doing different things and wanting different stuff.

I find the codes sometimes work for cycle shoes. The 30% worked for me on the Trailcross Gore Tex MTB shoes last week. Got some Freerider Pro's with 25% off in Jan so worth trying them regularly. Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
