I'm after a new road helmet as my old trusty specialised echelon is getting on a bit.
Just after some recommendations, max £100.
Needs to be nice and light, decent sweatbands and decent ventilation.
What's everyone using at present?

I just bought a Kask that was randomly 50% off at wiggle. They made the Aeron that i have and has got a bit grimy, but otherwise worked well.

Went for an echelon 2 with MIPS in the end. £69 from Rutland cycles. Light and very comfy plus the added protection.

I was in the same position as I had a Propero 2 and tried an S-Works Prevail 2 and a Propero 3.

The S-Works Prevail 2 was circa £200 (discounted) v Propero 3 at £100.

Prevail 2
Pros
- Lighter
- More vents

Cons
- Straps don't sit flush to side of your head
- Profile was slightly bigger
- More expensive

Propero 3
Pros
- Great price
- Straps sit flush to skin

Cons
- Slightly heavier

I went with the Propero 3 and glad I did. It's more compact than my old Propero 2, better airflow and looks better than all.

I was going to keep the Prevail 2 but the straps not sitting flush was a deal breaker.

Best try them for size and fit as everyones head is different.
