I know they've been mentioned before but I couldn't find a dedicated thread
Le Col - any good? I've been fairly negative towards them before because of the Strava £50 voucher connection but some of their gear looks pretty good.
Rapha isn't for me and the alternatives (Castelli et al) are similar priced for the more technical stuff.

Le Col stuff is bang on, I'd say the quality is as good as Rapha / Castelli gear but with the Strava vouchers much more affordable. I wouldn't be disappointed if I had to pay full price for something from them as it's decent kit, but with the Strava vouchers you really can't complain.
I’ve got quite a few Le Col bits, bibs, jerseys, socks and am overall pretty happy with it, one of my pairs of bibs the Sri thing is coming away in a few places but they are probably 2-3 years old.
I’d not pay full price for any of it though as they always have a £50 voucher challenge running on Strava

Thanks, that's good to know. The pricing of some cycling stuff nowadays is eye-watering.
Some of the brands @ Sigma now are just taking the piss for what looks like fairly average stuff.
I think 5 years ago that is exactly what most people would have said about Le Col, nothing has changed apart from the rest of the apparel world are also at it Some of the brands @ Sigma now are just taking the piss for what looks like fairly average stuff.
There's some good sale offers on Endura floating around at the moment - Cyclestore and Tredz seem to have similar pricing.
Pro SL is the top of the range for Endura - this jersey is £79 down to £49. Hang around on the Tredz site for long enough and a box will pop-up with a code for an extra £5 when you spend over £30.

Whenever im looking at the pricier brands, end up sending full price back in favour of DHB, really cant fault any of the Aeron stuff that i now own heaps of.
Cafe du Cyclist and Universal Colours are a little different, but not particulary astounding quality given prices.

I've had a fair bit of Le Col kit, in fairness prompted by the £50 Strava voucher initially. I now have two pairs of their Pro bibs, which still have a foam pad rather than gel, but are very comfy and I'd say on par with my Castelli Endurance 3 bibs for comfort over say, 50 miles. Anything more than that and I'd sway more towards the Castelli.
I also had some bib tights for winter which are perfect (sport version as I don't do as much riding in winter), two short sleeve jerseys (size up as it's "pro" cut) and a thermal winter jersey.
Never had any issues with them, the earlier poster who mentioned the foam padding, does that mean their dearest pairs of bibs, Hors Categorie I think they're called, have a gel pad?
One more thing, they're tied up with McLaren for some nice branded gear, which appeals to my inner 10 year old McLaren fanboy!

If anyone is planning ahead for autumn / winter and wants a jacket, Le Col have their Pro Jacket reduced down from £230 to £135 - plus if you have a £50 Strava voucher you can get it down to £85 (I got free shipping too with my voucher) which seems like a pretty good deal for a well reviewed jacket.
