I won this 22 years ago - it’s never been used.

Apart from oxy on the bars n stem it’s dusty but immaculate. - lots of transfers saying stuff like “concept” etc.

The point is I want to get moving again but I’m fat, unfit and fifty but I’ve a history of legendary cycling (40 years ago)

I’ve looked at e-bikes in Halfords but I’m aware they are cheap n very very heavy without the e-kit. Can I / should I get an electric conversion for the Scott or sell the Scott (if it’s worth anything) put it towards a Halfords bike at £1100 ish.

I’m not sure how much / long I’ll use it so reticent on spending ££ initially.

if you are fat n 50. You'd be better cleaning up and lubing that bike, getting out and riding on it. NO ELECTRIC. I'm 51 in November and did exactly that and lost 15kg and am a lot fitter. Still no athlete though
