Hello, I was hoping to purchase a bike seat so that our 2 year old daughter could come along occasionally when I go for a run with my wife cycling.
We went into Halfords today to have a look but the sales advisor said none of their seats would be suitable for a 15" frame.

I've included some photos below for clarity but can anyone suggest a brand that would be suitable for the ladies bike? We considered a trailer but would prefer a seat if possible.

How about something like the Topeak Babyseat?

You install a special pannier rack to the bike and then the seat just clips into this. Best part is you can then quickly take off when you don't need the seat on the bike or quickly add back on when needed.

I used it for my two, actually just put it up for sale yesterday as they have now outgrown this & it has been great & would recommend.

If you look at this link there are a few photos of it working on a similar bike - https://www.twowheelingtots.com/topeak-baby-seat-r...

I bought a weeride deluxe which was pretty great. Child sits in front of you, and the seat comes with a bar that goes between seatpost and stem. Thule also do a similar version. Personally felt it way better than the rear mounted options.

They’re around £100

As above, also got a weeride, as the child in front of you was a preference.

Also consider a child trailer.

We've got a Hamax siesta, which fits on the back. Currently on my MTB. Following reading this thread I took some measurements last night, and I think you need a clear 3" / 8-9cm of tube to mount it to.

Looking at your pictures, I don't think it fill fit, so probably best with one of the other solutions suggested.

Would post pics, but they're to big to post direct from my phone
