The wife has a liv avow with a similar bottle set up to this with an aero seat post. Can anyone recommend a light or a way of fitting a light that will be visible? The seat post isn’t an option as the bottles obscure it. Also the chain stays result in the light pointing skyward which isn’t great.

https://fibreflare.com/ are visible from most angles. Else I'd be tempted to chop and epoxy a light bracket onto the lowest point of that water bottle cage.

I have a Knog Blinder which stretches enough to fit round the very bottom of the seatpost, but actually sits mostly just below, as the strap is not central, it's about 30% of the way down.

By the way, any suggestions on storage solutions for an ISM Adamo seat? I'm struggling to find a tidy little pack to store a tube, levers and multitool.

I don’t think o e of these would solve the problem plus every variant is out of stock.

If a post or seat mounted one gets obscured you may have to go with one on the chain stay, I regularly TT and a lot of people do that.

Something like this Moon which has 3 angles could work:

Think m going to buy a cheap eBay or Amazon one and bastardise it so it fits in between the bottles. Her cage is slightly different to the one in the photo. The centre stands proud a bit.

I have an old-but-half-decent 2 x AAA light on my mudguard - I took it apart an drilled a small hole through the middle of the back and bolted it to the guard. Would something like that work? You could also then bolt it to a right-angle bracket or whatever that let you mount it somewhere.

Also, helmet or jersey mounted lights might be good.

I use one of these on the back of a pannier rack - you might be able to adapt it to fit:

SJS have a selection as well which might give DIY options - there's a Moon one which looks similar to the one above

Remove the stupid rear thing and use the bottle cage. Easy.

The bike has 1 bottle cage mount. Could you do 112 miles with one bottle?

Doesn't it have that weird camelback thing on the front too?

During the event is one thing, and surely you don't need a light during the event? But for training where mostly I guess you'll be doing shorter rides/can stop to refuel/light use is important, wouldn't just whipping it off be better and refit for the event only?

I had one like this which came supplied with a wedge shaped rubber mount that allowed me to fit it on a triangular-section seat stay. It's perhaps a bit low, but definitely better than nothing.

I also have a light that I can thread through the straps at the back of my helmet.
