Edit - ignore - swapped it for a different USB plug and the light is now solid. Original post:

I have the bluetooth kit thing so when my Garmin said the Di2 battery was on 30% I put it on charge. Due to going away I didn't use the bike but went to try it today and Di2 dead. Nothing. I thought "hmmm, maybe I didn't put it on charge" so I put it on charge and noticed the plug/adapter orange light was flashing, I swear it usually stays a solid orange when charging and then no light when charged.

Came back a couple of hours later and noticed the charge light had gone off, left it plugged in and checked the buttons and hey presto, I had gear selection. However, I turned on my Garmin and it's reporting the Di2 battery at 30%. I put it back on charge and again, the charge light is flashing.

Whilst plugged in if I hold a shift button down the green light flashes relatively quickly 5 times, then both red and green light flash simultaneously, a little slower, 3 times.

Any thoughts?!

Bike was new in 2018.

Mine seems a bit temperamental when plugging it in to charge. It seems to like being plugged into a powerbank though, which is kind of handy, as I don't have to bring it in to charge it!

Mine can be temperamental if it gets down low after winter. It will then charge and shows fine but drops to nothing by my next ride. I just have to go through this a couple of times then all is good for summer. I suspect winter cold affects it, (haven't tried it recently with all the poor weather so might be gone again)!
