That green is the wrong green for the frame colour. I'd go with the grey to match the decals biggrin

It is. For which i apologise. The green pedals don’t look right with the light green frame - as mentioned above - and I think grey or black is a bit dull. So hence my suggestion of red … or now orange. So I’ve suggested a 335d. Chipped.

If it helps, Race Face do a LTD edition Chester pedal in mint green which looks like it might match your frame colour better...

Failing that, think the match with the decals would work.

I really like this style of pedal, but the little metal spikes strike me as being shin shredders…

Or they would have been when I was a kid. Is this an issue as adults?!

I’ve picked up the odd wound from the studs, but the payback in grip is worth it, your feet are never going to slip off while you’re on a tough climb with wet shoes.

Go SDP and use cleats, connection to the bike way better especially when its gets wet and muddy

I’ve got some SDP pedals already. They’re the shimano ones with a flat plate one side and the SPD socket on the reverse and … they are neither one thing or the other. Perhaps a bit left leaning.

They’re on a cx bike and I try to avoid the roads so tend to wear trainers and I am always flipping them round. Hence thoughts of ditching them for something more centrist.

You get the occasional shin scrape, I find its more often when you are loading/unloading without paying attention or pushing your bike up something awkward rather than when you are actually riding. I happily put up with it for the grip.

I used to ride with SPDs but prefer flat pedals now, especially for muddy winter riding where SPDs and cleats always seem to get clogged up.

Purple.

Nice contrast with the frame - or even better, pink.

I'm torn between grey to match the stickers or purple as a contrast, anyone good at Photoshop!
